This item contains very strong magnets. Don't let the two sides get close together without protection and VERY make sure your fingers aren't in there. Even if two parts are less than 15 cm apart, they attract each other quickly! This has happened to me twice: the first time, my fingers got stuck in the middle, and pulling the pieces apart was a monumental feat. After I pulled my fingers out, the pieces didn't budge. I had to use a screwdriver to wedge them apart. In terms of product performance, I have a large picture window on the second floor between two double panes that had a streak of chalky discoloration down the middle. The hose was not flushed and it was out of reach of the window wiper extension handle. I put a damp sponge on the glass, held it with the outer part and then attached the inner part. I slowly moved the vacuum back and forth across the grounds. The window cleaner and scraper actually removed the discoloration while still holding the parts firmly. This is a very good product, great invention, just watch your fingers!
