Used 2 pcs. MX-518. I decided to buy a modern modification of them. After a 5-day test of the new mouse, the impressions are negative: - add. The G3 and G4 buttons are designed with the expectation that they will be pressed with the side of the thumb, moving from bottom to top, but I press the thumb pad and therefore it falls on the upper "sharp" edge of the buttons, which is not as comfortable as on the MX -518. They are located close to each other, which sometimes leads to accidental pressing of the adjacent button; - add. the G7 button is located in such a way that it is not convenient to press it - it is useless! - button under the thumb: in the heat of firefights, I constantly press it, and because it changes the sensitivity of the sensor, then my crosshair movements suddenly do not agree with the reflex movements of the mouse. I ended up turning it off completely. its location under the finger causes a little discomfort! - wheel: pressing is oak, the ratchet on the wheel causes additional loud sounds, and there is also no smoothness. - geometry of the case: the right side of the mouse, from the side of the thumb, definitely like its predecessors, but from the side of the little finger it was changed. The surface area to the right of the wheel was reduced, as a result, the ring finger falls off the edge of the mouse, and it turns out that on the left side I hold the mouse not with the little finger, but with the ring finger, which rests on the corner of the mouse, which in turn was made "sharp". Very uncomfortable feeling! For those who "change" to this mouse from the MX-518 and G400, I would advise you to look at other options, otherwise you will be very disappointed. Why they changed the geometry of the hull is not clear! A child's narrow hand can and will accept this design. The operation of the sensor and the operation of the buttons do not cause any complaints. Really "fast" buttons.
