The handles move from on to full throttle and off again with little effort and have a secure grip for both operations. The U-shaped water nozzle rotates and is made of metal, but just enough for me and not heavy duty. So do not catch it in a large pot or pan that is being cleaned, and do not pull or bend it as this may damage it. Don't worry about using things opps I broke it then spend more money on really reliable heavy use users faucet. this one.
