This is a review of the 17mm Lilly glass tube. First, it's beautiful. Looks a lot better than the standard plastic exhaust pipe that came with the Fluval 206 filter. Second, it works well. I took a Lily Mount Kit to mount it on the tank. Clear acrylic pairs well with clear glass. To connect it to my Fluval 206, I bought some rubber adapters for Fluval flexible hoses and then some hose clamps at my local hardware store. I cut off the existing hose as those pipes are dangling at the back, then hooked everything up and tightened the clamps (not too tight - don't want to break the glass). Water drains well. Not very good I use this on a 29 gallon aqueon. The whistle doesn't go deep enough into the water, so you always hear a loud boiling/rushing of water with this whistle. I can't put it any deeper in the tank either. I would give 5 stars but since my fish tank is noisy now (and it's in the main living room where the family watches TV) I can't. Summary If you are looking for a unique and beautiful piece of glass to enhance your aquarium filtration system, this is definitely something you should seriously consider.
