After about a year of light use I found that the straps were very loose. Upon investigation it turned out that they are not attached to the helmet very securely and the part that attaches to the back of the helmet has come loose and there is no way to reattach them as some parts have broken off. This shouldn't happen and I think the design and production is of poor quality. The helmet is very light compared to other well-known brands. My 9 year old daughter loved that it was lightweight but I was always concerned about how well it would protect her. I threw it away.
