This is a very versatile cycle computer. I was planning on getting a cheaper iGPSport device but figured I could get a future-proof option. The device paired with the spd, cad and hr sensors I bought with no issues, but when prompted to update the device using the app it failed at 2% and the device remained on what appeared to be a loading screen hanging with a loading animation. Without a proper guide, video, or other user feedback, I would panic for hours, thinking my device was dead now, and wait, thinking it would restart once the battery died. While browsing the app I came across a GS520 repair tool and decided to give it a try as I thought the worst could happen and it successfully restored the device to a previous version. Relieved, I plucked up the courage to try the update again and it was successful. This update brought many new features with navigation and notifications that stood out from the rest. However, I was unable to add new sensors or connect my phone when the device restarted. After a quick factory reset for a clean install, the device worked perfectly as advertised. It syncs easily and efficiently with Strava after a ride, the device itself is very accurate and works well with all the included ride sensors, but the companion app leaves a lot to be desired, particularly as the only way to control and adjust various settings on the device . Route planner for navigation is one such area. In the end I'm very happy with my purchase as this is my second bike computer with many advanced features, it doesn't cost much and requires some technical skills, but I'm ready to give any advice. learned for those who have questions. Great product, consider this if you are looking for advanced features on a budget.
