Review on 👔 Lavemi Leather Ratchet Automatic Men's Belts: Stylish and Sophisticated Accessories by Curtis Domus

I ordered a brown belt with a simple buckle. A (plastic) piece is sewn into the back of the strap as an insert to create a ratchet effect when you tighten the strap. A small lever on the buckle is used to release the ratchet, allowing you to loosen or remove the strap. The build quality is excellent. The belt needs to be cut to fit your waist as received. I found scissors to be great for this purpose. The belt is made from (double faced) leather with hard filler to shape, with heavy duty stitching on the sides to hold it together. You can measure according to the instructions but I found it easier to just tighten the strap to determine how much to cut off. If you cut it too long you can easily trim it down as the strap is attached to the buckle with a sharp toothed clip that is easy to detach and reattach. It's a very well thought out design, it has a very solid look and it's very attractive. This is definitely better than the old style straps with holes that tend to deform a lot over time. I chose one with a simple metal buckle that should stand up to any wear and tear I put on it. I am very impressed with this belt and am considering ordering another one to have a choice for different styles of pants. It promises a good grip as it doesn't stress the holes in the buckle, which is a disadvantage of the traditional belt buckle.
