The best since the crimp can opener!

I love this butter dish! I haven't been this excited about a simple kitchen item since the can opener that squeezes the lid so there are no sharp edges! I've looked at almost every classic butter dish on the market and this is by far my favorite. It's a nice, simple, smart, elegant design. I like that the lid has legs that allow it to be placed right side up. I like that the knife is attached to the lid with a magnet. I like the weird little knife itself. I like the little ramps on either end. Let me clarify something I wasn't sure about when ordering. Looking at this before purchasing I couldn't figure out if the lid had somehow "snapped" onto the tray. The demo video showed a girl carrying the entire assembly with one hand, giving the impression that this might be the case. To be clear, it doesn't snap. The lid simply rests on the tray by gravity. However, the 'legs' of the lid rest against small slots at either end of the tray, causing it to 'sit' and stay in place; but when you lift everything together, with one hand or otherwise, you have to reach for the tray (which most adults can easily do). My only minor gripe is that I wish the rubber feet on the bottom of the tray were more grippy. After you cut off a stick of butter and brought it to the ramp to pick it up, sometimes if you're doing it with one hand, the tray will slide across the counter or countertop as the knife moves. Not sure how to fix this, but I have a feeling a thicker band of softer silicone rubber might hold up a little better. However, this is quite picky. In general I like it.
