Great for repairing van corner moldings

After much research into repairing the corner moldings of my 2008 Fourwinds van I finally settled on this product. Although I'm new to do-it-yourself projects with my RV, this stuff impressed me and I'm sure that soon I won't have to worry about water leaks on the corners of my RV anymore. After applying the Seal-Tite corner tape, I applied a bead of this sealant to both sides of the molding to reattach it to the corner of my RV; it is great! The only tip I would add is that if your RV has corrugated siding like I do, use a THICK strip when applying sealant. This will ensure there is enough sealant to properly seal the gaps in the corrugated sheeting as the molding will not lay flat against the RV walls. I didn't apply enough sealant on the first corner mold (lesson for this newbie). Replacing rotten wood with my corner moldings is my first BIG DIY project and I have to admit that this sealer was just what I needed as a second layer of leak protection going forward. I kept a spray can nearby, just in case. I dealt with any sticky mess (and believe me, this thing will definitely be sticky) by smoothing out the areas where the sealant has seeped through.
