Works well, but sometimes very high boost when starting.

This 1500w inverter is doing a great job but I noticed something strange the other day. I only needed 110V to test some devices and instead of running a long extension cord to where I was I just grabbed an inverter and a spare 15Ah LiFePo4 battery that was nearby. The battery is listed as 15 amps and I have used it on other inverters (including a 3500 watt inverter) but when I connected it to this one there was a little sparking and then the battery shut down. It seemed strange so I repeated it with the same result. Then I took the second battery and connected them together and everything worked. The combined rating of these two devices was 30 amps (which was obviously enough), and I didn't have an ammeter handy, so I decided to put several fuses in series to see how much it draws. It blew a 10, 15, and 20 amp fuse before holding the 25 amp fuse. For some reason this inverter actually draws a lot more current than my other inverters and I'm not sure why (and I don't know if it's supposed to work that way or if it's buggy). Given that it still provides good clean 110V output, I suspect that any circuit used to generate a pure sine wave (rather than a modified sine wave) must draw a lot of current. However, I'm somewhat hesitant to use it offline due to the high power consumption and associated expected stray power consumption.
