Ideal for the "industrial look" when you hang up your keys after work. Much better than a hook they easily fall off. I have a thick wall shelf with an industrial look and they are hanging tight to the bottom of the shelf. It's also a great device to "hide" a spare key or other item. Metal tool boxes are another idea as they keep things in place so they don't end up at the bottom of the tool box (to avoid going on a safari to find that little item). I use two of these to hold a very odd shaped object in place that wouldn't be possible any other way. Very convenient!
