Review on Home Adjustable Risers Furniture Heights by Renea Lay

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as advertised. with minor changes

So they work as advertised but are prone to crashing as per other reviews. The plastic is pretty bad when it comes to load distribution, so with a few minor tweaks the problem is solved. First, I filled mine with expandable foam, which hardens as it cures, helping to distribute the compressive load and not relying on a plastic structure to do all the hard work. Once that was done I added vinyl blocks (wood would work too) in the top pockets to prevent re-stress and point loads on the top surface that were causing so many cracks. It distributes the load around the entire perimeter of the bag. You are now under a steel flatbed that, when loaded by two adults, is likely to weigh in excess of 600 pounds. They're rock solid after my upgrades. I wouldn't trust them since they come from the factory as they are basically pretty flimsy empty plastic molds. I hope this helps you all if you are considering buying a set.
