Ideal for bedding

Very nice. Adjustable. You cannot attach a steel frame with a sharp point, it will crack or break. I just added a piece of wood to prevent this.

They all broke through and through

They all broke in one year. This bed is for sleeping. The platforms all scattered in the middle while I was lying in bed. Queen size bed, I'm a normal size and these things are dangerous.

Attention buyers - the product is not durable.

I thought it was a great concept - two different heights for endless possibilities. However, the product is not strong enough. I've been putting it on my bed for about 3 weeks now and so far 2 of the 5" risers have broken where the leg of the bed fell through the riser. Look elsewhere for other risers that are built to last. .2015// Now all four big ones are broken. I haven't tried the small ones, but I don't think it's worth it. I repeat, this is a terrible purchase.

Broke many times in 1 week

To be honest my fiancé was an idiot and jumped on the bed after we put them on. So he broke one of them. I said okay, it's okay, there's a second set, we'll just use it. We put them on the same night and used them for about 3 days, then one broke while we were in bed. Then last night another broke on the headboard so I took it off and found that 3 of the 4 on the bed were currently broken. It doesn't appear to be a very strong and durable material. Send these defective items back to them for a…

What a cheap product!

I do not provide a rating period for this product. Strong my butt. Of course you can't leave the casters on the frame, the bed rolls right off the risers so we had to take the bed apart again, remove the wheels and put it back together and then it happened. He went right through the riser. It's definitely not durable, they're cheap and hollow. The inner support is probably not thick enough to support the bed and the people sleeping in it. I'm not a tall person, the only one sleeping in this…

crash is inevitable! best in bedding

At first we were very pleased with the solid placement, structure and apparent strength until today a leg gave way. The problem is financial weakness. A flat platform on a leg at the foot of a corner of the bed broke and collapsed. The corners of our bed frame's legs are rounded wheels that sit very comfortably on these risers. However, they are not strong enough to support 2 people and a cat without falling off. I weigh 205 pounds my wife doesn't tell me how much she weighs but I think 135-140

Works as advertised. with minor changes

So they work as advertised but are prone to crashing as per other reviews. The plastic is pretty bad when it comes to load distribution, so with a few minor tweaks the problem is solved. First, I filled mine with expandable foam, which hardens as it cures, helping to distribute the compressive load and not relying on a plastic structure to do all the hard work. Once that was done I added vinyl blocks (wood would work too) in the top pockets to prevent re-stress and point loads on the top…

Overall good bed risers but stability needs some attention

I ordered these risers for a large bed as my bed frame sits quite low off the floor of my room. As I was in a hurry to order bed risers, I didn't read the reviews before purchasing. I was sad to read (after my purchase) about the many errors people had with this product, which made me very nervous. Many reviews have shown that people have used various methods to reinforce the inside of the risers to prevent them from collapsing. I decided to go to Home Depot and buy a five pound bag of quick…

Before you buy a bed raiser, please read this first!

Bed risers either work or they don't, so I think they get either 1 or 5 stars. There are two things that are necessary for them to work. 1) You must be strong enough to support the weight of the bed and you! 2) The riser cutout should match the leg size of your frame. Many reviews indicate that these risers are cheap and break easily. I can't say for sure but they are designed to carry more than the risers I have replaced and used for many years. Maybe the design has changed, but I was happy…
