Review on Home Adjustable Risers Furniture Heights by Mary Gardner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall good bed risers but stability needs some attention

I ordered these risers for a large bed as my bed frame sits quite low off the floor of my room. As I was in a hurry to order bed risers, I didn't read the reviews before purchasing. I was sad to read (after my purchase) about the many errors people had with this product, which made me very nervous. Many reviews have shown that people have used various methods to reinforce the inside of the risers to prevent them from collapsing. I decided to go to Home Depot and buy a five pound bag of quick cement. I went out to the back patio, mixed quick cement with the required amount of water, and poured the inside of the bunk beds. The cement fully set in about an hour and I no longer felt that unsteady rocking of the bed when the bed was placed on the risers before I did the reinforcement. The cement was only about $4 for the entire bag and required very little effort. Ultimately I would recommend this product for its excellent value for money but I strongly recommend anyone purchasing these risers to use some form of boosting method. I've seen people like me use long Phillips screws, hard foam, or quick setting cement, but any reinforcement is better than none!
