For the price it's worth it. These aren't the best mesh balls, but the first day of using them goes pretty well! The scent smells like sunscreen and plastic, but not much. If you squeeze it too hard the slime will go through a hole in the big ball and it will kind of stretch it leaving a little bulge. The jump passes after a while, but it should be noted. I also found that cutting the tie holding the net together creates a completely different ball of stress. I cut it where I could put it back and it's AMAZING. I would recommend that.
