This product is great for monitoring and recording what's going on around you, but its motion detection technology leaves a lot to be desired. He reveals too much. A car driving by at night illuminating your driveway will only be interpreted as traffic since the driveway lighting will change even if the car never physically drives through the area. Infrared light also attracts flying insects. Again, the motion detection features become much less effective. In winter this is not a problem, but in summer it is practically useless if you want to receive traffic reports. Changing pixels isn't the best way to detect motion. A thermal signature must be present prior to activation. Apparently I don't care if the lights of passing cars illuminate my driveway.
