Relatively easy to put together and does a lot of what I was looking for in my bedside table. I wanted something I could customize with color and hardware (I wanted to go for a different style of hardware but ended up liking the original gold grips). It was also important to me to be able to hide the lamp and charging cable, but still have an open compartment for the salt lamp. I was able to fold down the bottom back panel and run a cable through it, which made me incredibly happy. I highly recommend rubbing the candle along the wooden rails before securing the drawers in place to allow for a smoother opening/closing. I seriously doubt it. They will last for decades but I think if left untreated they will last for quite a while.
