I am 5ft 4in and 137lbs. body weight plus 1-2 pounds. I have had trouble sleeping for several years. I wake up at least 6 times a night and it takes me up to an hour to fall asleep even when I'm tired. When I use a weighted blanket, I wake up less and fall asleep faster. For some reason I often have nightmares too, but after using the blanket they have lessened. I'm very sensitive to heat (can't even sleep under the same blanket with anyone else or I'll get too hot) so I was worried the blanket would be like a sauna. at the ideal temperature. I love my blanket! I'll probably buy the 25lb to be honest. The point is that the 15lb is good but not as heavy as I expected. I want it to feel like I'm being hugged and squeezed. If that's what you're looking for, I suggest buying a blanket that's at least 5 pounds heavier than the recommended weight for your height.
