I've used several standard glass French Press over the years and they work well, this one just works BETTER! The double-walled vacuum insulation keeps the water at a constant temperature, so it extracts maximum aroma from the coffee grounds and stays nice and hot when it's ready. The container is well made and uses excellent quality materials so its easy to clean but more importantly the double stainless steel strainer is REALLY well made and not only does it filter the coffee great but judging by the quality I expect, that it lasts for years. Oh and since everything is metal I'd happily go with this campsite or any other as I don't have to worry about the glass breaking!
