Well boys need cars to play with. I bought this set as a Christmas present feeling like I probably spent more than it was worth. And I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, the quality is excellent - the paintwork is clear, the parts fit perfectly, nothing is falling apart after 2 months of intensive use. Not even a scratch on the paint. Moving elements are cool, although my kid had to learn that pushing a car with a moving element could result in a slight fall. It's okay, he figured it out pretty quickly. There are little people inside who are smiling, which is very cool. And I didn't understand how vehicles are powered, but you don't have to "charge" them by sliding backwards. They just move when you press and make a very cool sound when the wheels roll. My kid loves to play with them on the street mat. Definitely worth the money.
