Initially I was happy with this purchase as the cover was easy to fit, looked good and at a price no one complained about. Well one day I was walking behind my jeep and I saw the bottom of the tire was hanging really low...can you imagine what you see when a baby needs a diaper change full of #1 or #2...lol...I had to laugh, but seriously, just think about all the other people riding behind you. Making drainage holes will likely ruin or shorten the life of the lid...
