Nice brush that is solid and leaves hair very smooth. I have long blonde hair that is fine but semi thick. I hoped I could use this brush as a more gentle option to the pick I use to comb out my hair when wet. It is not going to work for that - it cannot get through my hair to my scalp when it is wet. I should have bought the one for thick and curly hair but since my hair is straight I didn't think i would need that. I think it would be great for a child's hair that is not very thick yet. It definitely didn't tangle my hair or get stuck in it and pull it like a vent brush does. I like it but it is going to be used only for dry hair smoothing and not de-tangling wet hair.
