Great idea great execution

God I found gold in awesome toys for my 3 year old granddaughter this Christmas. Again learning resources and this set is great. When I was a kid, we had to make our own marble trails out of t-shirt card, gift boxes, whatever we could find, plus lots of duct tape. My own kids had Swedish wood sets which were great but not as great on today's wood floors I guess. Enter magnetic-backed foam rails that mount to any vertical steel surface such as refrigerators, filing cabinets, and front doors. Or you can buy one of these magnetic boards if you want to keep them in their bedroom. Scratch-resistant, bright colors, and little kid will learn a thing or two while having fun. They grow so damn fast that I don't really want to spend a ton of money on toys of this caliber, and Learning Resources has some quality toys at very reasonable prices. I have a second set in my queue to expand on this. I probably sound like I'm paying for learning resources, but I'm not. I'm just a grandmother so sick of all this stuff - for all ages including me. It is a real challenge to find good toys that are well made, let children use their imaginations when playing, so they can play with others and don't cost money. Every toy I've bought from LR has been perfect and most importantly, has been used over and over again. Later, when I think she's outgrown them, she'll come up with a new way to play with them, and that's where real learning comes into play in the early years of life.
