Worked perfectly with two different 14.1" LCD displays. The package contains the main board with all connectors, two small circuit boards and a remote control.The two small circuit boards are a 5 button control panel and a power supply for the LCD backlight.The cables connected to it only mate with the corresponding connector on the main circuit board, so don't mix it up !The LCD power supply also needs to be connected to the screen along with the 30 pin connector Again the LCD backlight (two wires, pink and gray on my LCD, plug into a socket on the LCD power supply. As with the motherboard it fits the plug only one way So: 1.Connect the LCD power supply 2. Connect the control panel board to the motherboard. Remove the 30 pin connector from the LCD and connect the new connector coming from the motherboard.5. Connect 12V to the power connector on the motherboard (centre positive)6. Connect the selected video input.7. Switch on, choose the right input, done! The remote control requires one 3025 watch battery (not included). I found it easier to navigate the menus with the remote than the buttons, but YMMV. A 14-inch monitor from a discarded laptop made sure of that. Making a good mount for it will be more work than making it work :)
