I was really nervous about purchasing this sauna. I have wanted a sauna for years and only recently decided that I would buy a portable one so that I could take advantage of the health benefits immediately. The prices of similar saunas range so drastically, I didn't know where to start. This one seemed to have good reviews and an in-between reasonable value, so I purchased it. It is so ridiculously relaxing. It was easy to put together and I just put it up in the corner of my bedroom. I started at 20 minutes and kept the heat setting on a 7. I gradually went to 30 minutes but still kept the heat at around a 7 or 8. It is so relaxing. I find it more relaxing than a nice, hot bath. I don't know how often one should do it but I was doing it every night. I felt so relaxed. It also took a lot out of me. I felt so tired and out of breath, and my muscles tired. I don't know that it attributed to better sleep per se, but it sure did calm me down and relax me a lot. I ended up having to stop getting in bc my liver is super congested right now and my skin and kidneys were taking the brunt of the detox. Once I get a couple liver flushes under my belt, I can't wait to start back up! This is one of my favorite "me" purchases ever and has been so beneficial to me!
