It was time to break them in. Excellent riding boots. The price is a bit high. I was a size 10.5 so I bought a size 11 to wear thicker socks on cold days. It was the right decision. Buy half a size larger than your regular shoes. It also doesn't put too much strain on my calf muscles. Very difficult to shift at first. Sturdy quality construction. While I don't intend to spill water, I'm sure these boots will protect my corners and feet well.
