I wish I had known this before! I took a 13 year break from sewing and have just started again. I saw her and thought it can't hurt. SO HAPPY TO TRY THIS! My hair bands have become much prettier. It's now much easier to get a smooth seam. I personally don't find it difficult to get it off my car when I need it either, but I'm only 38 and I can see how difficult it is for an older person. I pull it up and sideways to avoid scratching the record. Can't say enough good things about this magnet. My seams used to wander a bit, now they are all perfect and flawless. I can sew faster with it. I don't use needles when sewing, but I do fasten the fabric and there is less work with a magnet.
