Holds up great!
My son loves it. When he was growing up, I bought the same shorts three times. Well received, his darling. Also bought in other colors. He wears a pair every day. They hold up really well even after multiple washes! No tears, the seams are sewn very well, the color does not fade. Comfortable belt. Internal elastics with buttons for a perfect fit at the waist. Ideal for active boys! My 13 year old son is about 5ft 3" - 5ft 4", weighs 123lbs, just bought a regular size 16 and is still wearing his regular size 14 but the shorts are just above the knee. . He has long legs. He has a small waist.
