This is the second car mount I bought this year, the gravity mount I installed in my car got, ok, a few hard smacks and my phone falls out, and the bulky cases don't fit in my gravity mount, which also costs twice as much. The gravity mount is smaller and takes up less space, and this is perhaps the only plus compared to this mount. This mount has adjustable feet at the bottom, my fiancee has an iPhone 8 with a rescue case and she can charge her phone in this universal vent mount. I have a large screen android that fits too. You just push the button on the side until it's big enough to hold (pretty much every phone on the market). This mount is also installed on the vent, the gravity mount used 3M tape which didn't work and I had to super glue it. In my opinion, this mount was by far the best choice. This mount is cheaper, easy to adjust, doesn't hurt your interior, is a bit bulky BUT it keeps your phone from falling into simple potholes (which Ohio is full of). 5 out of 5 stars.
