This is a much higher quality production than the price would suggest. It's made of matte/crumpled powder-coated metal (think classic Nikon ED lenses). The female threaded cylindrical tripod screw is good and can be removed if your racks already have a cylinder. The flash's cold shoe has a clamping action with springs. You can tighten it against flash or shutter. This is especially useful if you have a trigger like the Yonguo 603 v1 that doesn't have a hot shoe screwdriver. With this mount you don't have to worry, you can tighten the clip on the trigger to keep it nice and stable. Umbrella hole and screw are ok. At first I wanted them to use a larger thumbscrew, later I realized that with the umbrella's hollow shaft you might be overtightening. So I'm not complaining. Angle adjustment is stuck. You have to loosen the screw decently to overcome the friction/click of the hinge. This means that even if the screw is loosened or not overtightened, the weight of the flash and umbrella will not cause the whole thing to tip over. Overall I'm very happy with it. to buy. For its price (regardless of the price, actually), the quality of the attachment is very good.
