I bought this cable to connect my Macbook to AMP/DAC and although I didn't notice any audible difference between this cable and the other one I've used, it has This cable has a nicer, more subdued look than my previous cable, and the gold plated connectors are nice, especially since one side always stays connected to my amp/DAC. I have purchased several Monoprice products and I find that they make high quality cables and other components. I would definitely buy this cable again if I needed it for a different connection.
