The texture is a bit rough, but that's not a bad thing - a rough texture is easier to knock down.
Etch is a solid product and these are decent shapes. It may be one of the "pitchers" in the Sandstone line, but it's not a pitcher. Single pad cuts are more accurate and you can expect around V2-V4 on a 45 degree wall on most of these hooks. The shapes feel sharp. The texture is a bit rough, but that's okay - if desired, it's easier to chip off a rough texture with sandpaper than to add texture to a surface that's too smooth. Durability is solid.
