I bought two. I put a Christmas wreath for everyone to hang on the second floor window. Each thread was just the right amount for a wreath. They work exactly as described. Each requires 3 batteries. I turned them on at 5:40am the first night, so they turn on at this time every night now. They stay on for 6 hours and then turn off for 18 hours. Very happy with this purchase. Update: The light is noticeably dimmer after a week of use. I swapped the batteries and everything was fine, but when you have multiple threads it's pretty expensive for the batteries. Rechargeable AA batteries could be the answer.
