When I installed this screen on my Toshiba 655, I noticed that the connection bar on the back of the screen didn't match my old screen. Both connectors rely on an adhesive strip to hold the connection together, but that shield wasn't sticky enough. Every time I connected the screen to the computer and started assembling it, the connection dropped. It was very weak. Luckily, good old duct tape is strong enough. Two strips of this material held the connection perfectly. The screen works and my computer is back.
