that the lid is easy to put on and partially lift off during cooking (e.g. to adjust the position of the piping bag). The container and lid are easy to wash (by hand) and dry. I like having a transparent container (rather than a pot) because you can easily see the contents. When the food was ready, I took out the food and let the container cool so I wouldn't burn myself emptying it. The container is suitable for my use as I often put two bags in the container at a time for cooking, making sure to fasten one bag to one long side and the other bag to the opposite side to allow enough space for the water to flow around both bags. I found it easy to hold the pouches in place on the rim of the container as I lowered the lid and pressed the lid against the rim of the container. I really enjoy using this container and lid and would recommend it.
