I used these inserts to replace crappy drop in types in my living room furniture. They made a much stronger connection to the legs and were easy to install. The drill size required (in metric units) is printed on the package so there's no guesswork. I recommend purchasing an assembly tool and using a socket drill for installation as it will speed up the process and make a direct install easier. All in all, this is a quality product at a good price.
