I was attracted by the size, features and affordable price. I think I see pre-assembled scratching posts this size for double the price. I like the color too and my cat seems to like it. It was very simple and easy to assemble - the instructions were very clear and it even came with a spare screw. I would give this five stars except that the sides of the drawer are only fabric - I was expecting the fabric to be over the top of the board. I'm just a little worried about how this will hold up when my cat scratches it, but maybe it has too much strength that he doesn't decide to scratch it. Also, there is no pillow in the closet itself. I don't think it's a big deal considering my cat will decide lying on the hardwood floor in the center of the kitchen is comfortable enough, but I think he'd use the cupboard more if he could would have padding. I can try to add something of my own.
