I love these leggings so much that I bought several of them. I lost a worn out one to another (many years later) and wanted a backup "just in case". I wear this every day, maybe four months a year. Because cold air makes my asthma worse and I spend a lot of time outdoors, including hiking, biking, and taking the bus almost every day, I need to be able to cover my mouth and nose. This allows me to easily raise it up when I need it and then lower it back down if my glasses fog up or I get too hot. You can even wear it as a wide earflap or DIY hat. Easy to put in your pocket, toss in your pocket, or take with you when you travel when it gets cold. Like all SmartWool products, this is not the cheapest option, but it is the best. Soft yet warm, durable, versatile, not bulky, easy to wash. If you live somewhere where it really is winter and you spend a lot of time outdoors, this is a must.
