In my opinion a light, fairly cheap product. Both locking pieces (which keep the strap from slipping) are broken and I have to use safety pins to hold them in place. Tears where the handle is sewn on. There are cuts in several places as the canvas is thin. The size is definitely not the same. To give you an idea of how this is used, I have a mixed breed, muscular, short haired dog. He weighs about 80 pounds and is basically an American Staffordshire Terrier. Very difficult. I ordered a size smaller than recommended and still have to tighten it almost as tight as possible for it to fit. We walk on the marked trail in the forest for about half an hour every day. Sometimes he leaves a trail that probably caused cuts on a thin canvas. I weigh five pounds on each side. I use a backpack to give him the best workout (ie to tire him out), strengthen him and prepare him for when he's going to be backpacking on his hikes. The bottom line is if you're looking for an inexpensive backpack to carry a few light items and you have a dog that never leaves the trail, then this is probably a great option for you. As for me, I will order an extended version in the near future.
