UPDATED REVIEW: Due to the absolute **Star** customer service team, I am changing my rating from one to five stars! They contacted me after I posted my first review to fix things and within two days I had a new earring on my doorstep (as well as a few gifts from them!). This one feels MUCH more comfortable than the first; It is much easier to open and close and the ring does not scratch my piercing when I put it through the hole. I must have gotten one that wasn't 100% aligned or something. I will update my review again if I run into any issues with tarnishing, scratches, contamination etc with these new ones. I am so happy! OLD REVIEW: I tried very hard to wear this earring but it was so painful and uncomfortable that I had to take it off. My cartilage piercing definitely got infected from this hoop and I've had it pierced for eight years now. The clasp was difficult to engage and I'm not sure if it was fully aligned because it AIRS as the earring moves when worn and the clasp area slides through my piercing. I wore it for three days before finally having to give up, even my hair touching the hoop made my ear throb and hurt even more.
