I had an operation five days ago. I knew I would relax on the couch, and my couch is terribly uncomfortable. The pillows are thin and the gaps between the pillows are terribly uncomfortable to sit on. I covered the seat with a thick blanket, but I still felt everything underneath. I decided to use memory foam. I did a lot of research and was about to buy egg crate foam tape elsewhere for $16 when I decided two inches of foam would be much more convenient. I got it at the last second and I'm glad I did. The difference between sitting and lying on my couch is huge. This foam is very comfortable Protects me from terrible pillows and gaps in between and just feels good. I slept well on the couch with this foam pillow and I won't take it off when I'm healthy and back in bed. We cut off a few inches from the side as it was too wide. My cat took over most of it and now he's curled up on his little foam bed. I can get one for my queen bed. We have a topper, but it's not as good as this one. I made the right decision by choosing a more expensive pillow instead of an egg crate or 1 inch thick crate. This one is definitely worth the money and mine didn't smell at all which I've seen some complaints about. I can't find anything negative, so I'm giving it 5 stars.
