The end of the egg piercing cup will crack the egg completely.
I have another brand. I ordered this egg for the simple fact that it makes 14 eggs. The end of the cup that you need to pierce the egg with will break it completely. For that reason alone I wouldn't buy it. You will need a needle or a pin. I used a lancet. Works every time.
