My sister bought this for my mom's hair! Because I did my mother's hair! I learned firsthand (no pun intended) that Biosilk is a hair product! The smell is pleasant but not overpowering! Silky on her hair, not a heavy product. Like some hair oils from the past! It put a lot of strain on her hair. It is also a heat protectant that is vital for black hair.
