I bought this unit in an open box so YMMV but there was no bracket to mount the head unit itself. For my application I had to trim the dashboard (an old Ford camper van) so I made the unit so tight that the bracket was unnecessary. However, I have another strange problem. The sound will be completely muted when the RCA cable is connected to the rear camera video input. This should only happen if the pink wire (backup trigger) gets hot, but it happens all the time. This means I have to unplug the camera's RCA cable to use the radio, which is incredibly inconvenient. As a result, checking other radio attributes is difficult, but I'll update this review if I ever find out the problem.
