Perfectly synchronized sound. The HDMI signal works fine. OK. As HDMI input sources, I connected a TV and a PC via a 3-to-1 HDMI switch box. Then I connected the HDMI switcher output to this WIISTAR input. Then connect this WIISTAR 3.5mm audio output to the soundbar under the extra PC monitor. The TV speakers and the soundbar played the same sound at the same time. TV speakers and soundbar speakers were PERFECTLY in sync. Delay. Just perfect. BAD. This WIISTAR splitter has terrible power on problem. The USB 5V power adapter MUST be connected BEFORE the HDMI input/output cables. Otherwise, when the HDMI cables are connected to powered devices first, when this WIISTAR Splitter is connected to a USB 5V power adapter, the HDMI pass-through output will NOT be activated. Your HDMI monitor stays black. If a WIISTAR is stuck like this, you can tell that only its RED LED is lit. Its BLUE LED does not light up. If it gets into this stupid state, your monitor or whatever is connected to the HDMI output is dead. At this point, even disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cables to WIISTAR will not reset it. The only way to get WIISTAR working properly is to disconnect everything from it. All HDMI cables and USB power connection. Then wait a few seconds. Then connect USB 5V FIRST. Then connect the HDMI cables. This may seem like a minor inconvenience is only a concern if this is your first time connecting an HDMI device to this audio splitter. But suppose there was a brief power outage. Or suppose your installation can turn off all devices. When power is restored, you may need to turn off this WIISTAR box completely and follow the steps above to get your HDMI video working again. ----------- ----------- If it wasn't for that, I would give this WIISTAR audio splitter +5 stars.
