They're ok if sorted out
As with some reviews here, the problem is figuring out the guards. "Instructions" are useless. Maybe worse; I couldn't understand them until I threw away the instructions. I was lucky; My pads are just the right length for my skates so I didn't have to cut the pads. But it still wasn't intuitive. Another reviewer said he found a video showing how it's done. Be sure to find this video before purchasing and see if it helps. Once I got everything working they work fine. Without the instructions I would have given 5 stars.
