The best do-it-yourself solution
I love my LG fridge. That's great. It cost twice as much as my first car and after a few years the doors wouldn't close and the doorbell ringing drove everyone crazy. It turns out the problem lies in this part called the impost, a long piece of plastic hinge that seals the space between two French doors when they are closed. The doors don't close properly unless the jamb snaps back into the door frame when opened, which depends on a small spring that seems to wear out over time. It can be replaced in minutes with a Phillips screwdriver and a YouTube video, all for less than $10 and comes with a spare spring to boot. Ideal.
