While this compass really was the perfect gift for a trip loved one

Although this compass was the perfect gift for a trip, I was a bit disappointed in the product that got to me. The compass itself works great and looks fantastic, the quote on the back is a different story. The inscription is not aligned with the top of the compass, giving it a crooked appearance when hanging from the necklace. Also, the brass on the back was visibly scratched, making the quote difficult to read.
