I bought this product because it had the best price. I wouldn't pay as much as a Hilton room for something that cleans up cat poo! It's not that fancy, it doesn't spray French perfume after the cat poops, it doesn't shake its paws before coming out, and it doesn't look for feces stuck to the cat and sound an alarm when it leaves. It cleans cat poop so I don't need it! If you find that the cheaper specialty cat litters require special litter boxes, you might as well buy one of these. It accepts any type of junk (okay, no bits of tree bark), uses small plastic bags which are affordable but I'm sure you can buy even cheaper if you need them, and it just works. You have to make sure it doesn't get too full or it will turn red and stop so you can empty it and start again (empty, change bag, press button). You don't want your cat to come in when it's red and upside down. It only has a small, almost useless deodorant next to the feeding pit, so don't expect to smell roses when it starts to fill up. I found that the application contains too much information. I mean, who cares how often a cat poops? It doesn't weigh them down like some others, but really? Maybe eight ounces lighter once they're gone? We're crazy about the app. It cleans the poop, so just empty the bags. Worth the money especially if you have more than one cat. While your sensor is working properly, test it first, especially on small/young cats. It's slow moving so I can't see a cat jumping without immediately popping out when it turns around, but you never know for sure. If you have a kitten, they should probably use a hand brush box until they are adults to be safe. I really like this device and I think most people will like it too.
