I advise. I asked for a new camera as a gift, I didn’t want a simple “soap box”, so I studied the owners’ reviews before buying the Canon PowerShot SX420 IS. Promises of good quality photos are fully justified. It is especially pleasant that the quality does not decrease even with a significant approximation. Many interesting effects, but most of them are difficult to apply in practice. When, for example, can the color replacement function come in handy? As usual, there were some shortcomings, mostly small ones. The main thing I can complain about is that the battery runs out quickly, I constantly have to put the camera on charge. At dusk, it focuses for an unrealistically long time! This brings it out. Otherwise, everything suits me, I do not regret the choice. The video also turns out to be of good quality, it’s not a shame to show it to friends.

Pros

An excellent camera for home use! Canon PowerShot SX420 IS, a couple of thousand difference, but the shooting quality is much better, it focuses quickly, the pictures are clear, natural, not blurry even in motion, the camera is light, relatively compact, fits in a bag or pocket without any problems, there is WI-FI connected the camera to the phone in 2 minutes, a handy thing, especially for quick transfer of pictures between devices, and for home collective shooting, you can control the camera from your smartphone. Overall, I found an excellent replacement for a SLR camera.

Cons

There is no cord for connecting to a PC, there is no strap for carrying the camera around the neck, you need to manually take out the flash, but in general, all these are trifles, the main thing is the picture is good.
